DESCRIPTION:Gentle mindful movement followed by a seated meditation\, with a short overview of what mindfulness is and isn’t and two simple practices for anchoring attention. Time at the end for reflection and questions. Designed to suit beginners while offering depth for those with experience. Chairs and props provided; bring a cushion or blanket if you prefer. Alexa Flower has practised meditation since 2018 and is a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction facilitator through Brown University’s School of Professional Studies. Sliding scale from $10.
