Cottonwood Creek is a federally designated Wild and Scenic River and home to a nursery population of the Paiute cutthroat trout\, a fish listed as Threatened under the Endangered Species Act. Volunteers will work two full days dismantling obsolete wilderness fencing. \nThis is a physically demanding trip in a remote setting\, with plenty of breaks and time to enjoy the wilderness. Open to volunteers with an interest in backcountry stewardship and the physical ability to hike and work in a remote area.
