A trail running event organizer in Bishop that puts on a day of high-altitude races at the Millpond Recreation Area in the foothills of the Eastern Sierra. Distances range from a 6K fun run to 20-mile, 53K, 50-mile and 100K races. Courses follow mostly four-wheel-drive dirt roads with some single-track, and the races are exposed and hilly. The shorter runs suit newer runners, and the longer ones suit people training for mountain ultras. Aid stations offer a wide spread of food and drink, and there is a meal at the finish. Net proceeds go to the Eastern Sierra Youth Outdoor Program and Inyo County Search and Rescue. The race is operated by the Eastern Sierra Interpretive Association. Dogs are not allowed at the start and finish area.
