The Tribal Employment Rights Office of the Bishop Paiute Tribe, which works to open up jobs and training for Native workers on and near the Bishop Indian Reservation. It requires fair employment practices and Indian Preference from reservation employers and contractors, takes job applications for its Job Skills Bank, and looks into complaints under the TERO Ordinance. It also offers new employment help to tribal members, such as tools, clothing and fuel. The office runs hands-on job skills trainings, with backhoe and carpentry workshops held at the TERO Garage. Training registration and scholarship forms are available through the office. The office is on Tu Su Lane in Bishop.
