The public school district serving Bishop. It runs Bishop Elementary School and Bishop Union High School, and holds its public Board of Trustees meetings at the high school auditorium. Those meetings are open to the community and include special sessions on the budget and the district’s local control and accountability plan. The district also hosts family events at its schools, such as a reading festival at Bishop Elementary School for kids and parents.
