The state agency that runs California’s state parks, including Bodie State Historic Park in Mono County. In the Eastern Sierra, it puts on interpretive programs and community events at Bodie, such as history talks and stamp mill tours. It also works with local groups on programs. Its events are open to families and visitors, and the statewide program includes a free pass that lets California fourth graders visit 54 state parks.
