A Family Empowerment Center in Bishop that serves families in Inyo and Mono Counties who have children with special needs. It is part of the wider H.E.A.R.T.S. Connection network, which offers resources, support and community programs for people with disabilities and their families. Its events include Spanish-language sessions for caregivers, called Cuidadores Conectados, held at the Mammoth Lakes Library. These are open to the community and are a way for caregivers to learn and connect.
