A county commission in Inyo County that supports children from before birth to age five and their families. It works within the county’s Health and Human Services Department. Its programs include Triple P Positive Parenting Classes in English and Spanish, a home visiting program, a Toy Lending Library, Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library book mailings, and free community playgroups. It also takes part in family events, such as an Indigenous Story Time at Brewed Awakening in Bishop. Commission meetings are held at the Clint G. Quilter Consolidated Office Building in Bishop.
