Inyo County Home Visiting Program

A home visiting service for pregnant women and families with children from prenatal age through 3 years old who live in Inyo County. It is run through the county’s Public Health and Prevention Division, with support from First 5 Inyo County. Home visitors are certified in the Parents as Teachers curriculum and focus on child development and breastfeeding support. Visits offer education, maternal mental health screenings, and connections to local community resources. The program also helps put on family events, including free community playgroups for parents and children ages 0-5, such as a playgroup at Spainhower Park, and a Trunk or Treat night at the Clint G. Quilter Consolidated Office Building.
