Laws Railroad Museum

A railroad museum and historical site on eleven acres at 200 Silver Canyon Rd, a few miles north of Bishop. It is built around the old railroad depot and a recreated village, with restored equipment, full-scale replicas of borax wagons, and a large collection of artifacts from the Owens Valley. The museum runs train rides on a restored historic motorcar on select weekends, which suit kids and families. It also hosts community events such as the Choo Choo Swap Meet, and the grounds can be rented for weddings and private events. Dogs on a leash are welcome.
