A volunteer nonprofit that supports the Mammoth Lakes Branch Library, part of the Mono County Free Library system. The group pays for library collection purchases and children’s programming, including Musical Storytimes. It runs a used book store inside the library and gallery wall exhibitions, and it keeps an endowment fund for literacy. It also gives book scholarships to local high school seniors. Funds come from membership dues, raffles, auctions and book sales. Its author and speaker programming adds talks for readers of all ages.
