A museum and cultural center at 2300 W Line St in Bishop, operated by the Bishop Paiute Tribe on behalf of the local Owens Valley tribes. The museum holds cultural displays, historical artifacts, a Memorial Hall honoring Native American veterans and their families, and collections of historical archives and media. A native garden and walking trail lead to a conservation open space area where native plants and traditional landscapes are interpreted for visitors. The gift shop carries hand-crafted beadwork, basketry, jewelry, quillwork, and educational materials made by local tribal artisans. Throughout the year the center hosts gatherings and events — both traditional and contemporary — open to the community and the general public.
