A nonprofit in the Eastern Sierra that promotes green burial and holds community events about life, death, and end-of-life planning. Its calendar includes Death Cafes, which are relaxed group conversations about mortality, along with film screenings, Mortality Mixers, and a grief gathering called Grief Hall at Wind Drift Studios. Events take place at community spaces such as Root Down Community Hub. They are open to anyone who wants to talk about death, plan ahead, or find comfort in shared stories. The group also hopes to build a natural burial arts center that brings together living arts, artist residencies, and death education for Inyo and Mono County.
