A community garden inside Bishop City Park at 688 N Main St in downtown Bishop, managed by the City of Bishop’s Community Services Department. It has rentable garden plots, a free sharing garden, and demonstration gardens. An expansion and enhancement project has added accessible pathways and a restorative garden along the Pine to Park Path. The garden hosts community gatherings, such as an expansion celebration and a meet and greet, as well as outdoor gardening workshops on topics like composting, cover crops and cold-weather gardens. It is open to neighbors who want to grow food, learn about sustainable gardening, or just visit.
