A community arts center at 210 S Warren Street in Bishop, run as a nonprofit. The building has a gallery with rotating exhibitions, a gift store with work by local and fair-trade artists, a classroom studio, a movement and events studio, and artist studios and co-working space that local and visiting artists can rent. Art classes and workshops are offered for all ages, from painting, printmaking, embroidery and cyanotype photography to dance, yoga and meditation. Many classes for kids and teens are free. Other events include gallery opening receptions, open mic nights, a poetry club, chess tournament rounds and nature programs for young children. Youth programs include an after school program, Little Sparrows early childhood, and a homeschool program. The center also takes part in public art projects such as murals and Art in Storefronts.
