The Chalfant Valley Fire Department (CVFD) is a volunteer fire department established in 1988, serving the community of Chalfant Valley in Mono County. It operates one station staffed by approximately 16 volunteer firefighters and provides fire suppression, emergency medical services, and rescue operations. The station at 215 Valley Rd. also serves as a monthly IMACA drive-thru food distribution site for residents of the surrounding area.
