Dehy Park is a publicly owned county park located at the north end of Independence along U.S. Highway 395, managed by Inyo County Parks & Recreation. The renovated park features a community food prep court, horseshoe-pitching area, basketball court, play equipment, restrooms, and Independence Creek running through the grounds. It is also marked by a historic Carson & Colorado Railway car and is available for special event reservations through the county.
