The Druid Trailhead on Bir Road is the access point for the Druids, a bouldering area in the Sierra Nevada foothills about two thousand feet above Bishop. The boulders are accessed via a steep 1.5-mile hike taking roughly 45 minutes and offer over 150 boulder problems on quartz monzonite granite similar to the Buttermilks. The area is managed by the Inyo National Forest and offers more solitude than the lower bouldering zones, especially during busy holiday weekends. There are no facilities at the trailhead or bouldering area; pack out all waste.
