The main base lodge for Mammoth Mountain Ski Area, at 10001 Minaret Road in Mammoth Lakes, about four miles up Minaret Road from town. The Panorama Gondola runs from here to the summit, and Mammoth Mountain Inn is next door. The lodge has ticketing, ski and snowboard rentals, a Mammoth Sports gear shop, and several places to eat and drink, including Tusks Bar, Broadway Marketplace, Sierra Grind and Yodler Restaurant & Bar. A sundeck looks out over the terrain park. In summer the area stays busy with mountain biking and other outdoor recreation. It also hosts sports events, such as the Velocity Circuit point-to-point race.
