The county government offices for Mono County, with an office at 1290 Tavern Road in Mammoth Lakes. The county serves the Eastern Sierra communities from the Nevada border to the Sierra crest. Public meetings are held here and across the county, including Board of Supervisors meetings, Board of Equalization and Assessment Appeals Board meetings, and local advisory committee meetings such as the LDTAC. The county also puts on community gatherings, such as a countywide Women in Business evening and a special Board of Supervisors meeting for Chalfant and Tri-Valley residents. Meetings are open to the public. Residents can also use the county for elections, taxes and payments, and forms.
