A radio astronomy research site at 100 Leighton Lane near Big Pine, on the east side of the Sierra Nevada in Inyo County. It is run by the Caltech Astronomy department and is used for research in radio astronomy and astrophysics. The site opens to the public for open house events, which are aimed at kids and families and include guided tours of its telescope arrays.
