A public trailhead on Lake Mary Road in Mammoth Lakes, in Inyo National Forest. It is the starting point for the Panorama Dome Trail, a short hike of about 0.7 miles round-trip that climbs roughly 288 feet to a summit with wide views of the Mammoth Lakes Basin, Mammoth Crest and the valleys around it. The trailhead also serves the Panorama Dome mountain bike loops. There are no restrooms and no fee. Guided outdoor and nature hikes, including a tree-themed hike, start from here.
