A mountain resort at 1 Upper Rock Creek Road, above Bishop, at the end of the Rock Creek canyon in Little Lakes Valley. It sits in an alpine setting over 10,000 feet up, surrounded by John Muir Wilderness, across the street from Rock Creek Lake. The resort has rental cabins, a general store, a grill serving breakfast and lunch with house-smoked barbecue, boat rentals and shower facilities. It is a handy base or stop for anglers, hikers, photographers and campers heading to nearby trailheads. The resort also hosts events, mostly live music at Saturday happy hours, along with outdoor and nature outings such as Waterfall Wednesdays.
