A Bureau of Land Management campground near the Alabama Hills, about 5 miles west of Lone Pine off Horseshoe Meadow Road. It has 83 RV and tent sites, including ten pull-through spaces, and is open all year. Every site has a fire pit, picnic table and lantern holder. There are no hookups. Potable water and a dump station are available seasonally. The campground also has a group site and two horse corrals. Sites are first come, first served, and group sites and horse corrals can be booked ahead. It also hosts the occasional outdoor evening program, such as a night of Saturn viewing with the Alabama Hills National Scenic Area.
