Coyote Flats High Country Overlanding Run @ Yuhubi Nobi Gas Station and Market

Western Trails Wilderness Camping hosts a three-day high-country overlanding run through scenic terrain above Bishop, CA. The route covers the Buttermilk Country Loop, Coyote Flats plateau, Funnel Lake, Coyote Lake, and Green Lake Overlook, climbing from Owens Valley desert (~5,800 ft) into alpine meadows and lakes near 10,000 ft. Rally point is Friday, July 17 at 12:30 PM at Yuhubi Nobi Gas Station & Market — last easy fuel and supply stop before hitting dirt. Friday night camp is near the Buttermilks Trailhead; Saturday features the main Coyote Flats high-country route plus an evening group potluck; Sunday descends via Green Lake Overlook back toward Bishop by ~5:00 PM. GPX routes available via OnX Offroad and GaiaGPS. No wood or charcoal campfires — bring propane. Participants assume all risk and liability for themselves, their vehicles, and passengers.
