Medicine in the Mountains: A Free Plant Walk with Friends of the Inyo

Join Trail Ambassador Abby for a guided hike to learn about ethical plant foraging and the edible and medicinal properties of local plants. Participants will learn how to identify plants, harvest sustainably, and explore the historical contexts of plants as food and medicine. This is a free, ticketed (reservation-required) walk offered on multiple Sundays: 6/28, 7/26, 8/23, and 9/20, each running 9–10 AM. The location is near the Whitney Portal area. All supplies are provided by the trail ambassador. Hosted by Friends of the Inyo.
