Panum Crater Geology Walk

The Eastern Sierra is one of the most geologically active regions in the US. Join Sierra Forever and Mono Lake Volunteers for a free geology walk — hike into a young volcano and learn about the wild forces that shaped the area. Meet at the Panum Crater Trailhead kiosk at 10:00am. The walk runs approximately 90 minutes. Free and open to all; no campground stay required. This walk runs every Saturday and Sunday through the summer season.
