Thistle Pull @ Black Point

The last organized Thistle Pull at Black Point is scheduled for Tuesday, July 21. Significant progress has already been made removing invasive thistle from the area, and volunteers are needed for one final push to knock out the remaining large patch before flowering begins. Gather at County Park at 8:00 AM or meet at the Black Point parking area at 8:30 AM. Volunteering runs until 11:00 AM. This effort is organized by the Mono Lake Volunteer group, with gratitude to Deanna, Lynn, Nick, and Eric’s Mono County crew. No experience necessary — come ready to pull!
