Volunteer Day: Pinyon Seedling Planting @ White Mountains (Old CARMA Site)

Join the Big Pine Paiute Tribe of the Owens Valley for a community volunteer day planting pinyon seedlings in the White Mountains. Meet at 825 S. Main St. in Big Pine at 9:30 am to caravan together to the old CARMA site. If you plan to arrive later, contact the organizer for a pin drop location. Snacks and drinks will be provided — please bring your own water bottle, sturdy shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. Everyone is welcome, and even planting just one tree makes a difference! The group will be on-site until 3:30 pm. For more information, call Ana Bacoch at 760.938.2003 ext. 227.
