Watercolor with a Ranger in the Mono Basin @ South Tufa

Join Forest Service rangers for a drop-in watercolor painting session at South Tufa in the Mono Basin. Rangers provide all watercolor supplies and share interpretive information about the unique ecosystems and natural wonders of the Mono Basin and Eastern Sierra. No previous art experience is required, and all ages are welcome. Simply drop in at the South Tufa picnic tables anytime between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm. This is one of four Watercolor with a Ranger sessions offered in September 2026; the final two sessions will be held at locations announced closer to the date as fall colors emerge. Programs are presented by Sierra Forever in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service.
