A member-based business organization in downtown Bishop that promotes local commerce, tourism and responsible recreation across the Eastern Sierra. It also runs the Bishop Visitor Center at 218-A South Main Street, where people can get area maps, help planning an itinerary, and information on outdoor activities. The Chamber hosts community and civic gatherings around town, including a mixer at the Eastern Sierra Business Resource Center, a candidate forum at Tallman Pavilion at the Tri-County Fairgrounds, and a celebration for the expansion of the Bishop Community Garden. Its events are open to local business people, residents and visitors.
