The tribal government of the Bishop Paiute Tribe, which hosts gatherings for tribal members and the wider Owens Valley community. Its calendar includes cultural events like the Pabanamanina Pow-Wow, California Indian Day weekend festivities, the Bishop Indian Hand Game Tournament and the Fall Pinenut Blessing. It also runs community events such as an elders gathering, a housing fair, a summer youth program, a community opioid planning dinner and the swearing-in of newly elected tribal delegates. Many events happen at the Owens Valley Paiute-Shoshone Cultural Center, where there are also garden volunteer evenings, plant walks, produce safety training, an Earth Day and spring market and a reservation clean-up. Others take place at the Pow Wow Grounds, Barlow Lane Gym and the Tribal Justice Center. Most events are open to the community.
