A nonprofit arts council serving Inyo County, based at 150 Willow St in Bishop. It runs year-round art and cultural events and programs for residents and visitors of all ages. The best-known is the Millpond Music Festival at Millpond Recreation Area. It also puts on Community Art Days and Arts & Crafts Fairs in Bishop City Park, including a Memorial Day weekend fair. At its Bishop gallery and office it hosts exhibition openings, art talks, an “Anything Goes” writing group, and a free Investing in Artists professional development series for local artists. It also runs arts programs for kids and schools, such as Poetry Out Loud and After School Arts.
