A live West African band that blends traditional West African rhythms with Afrobeat, jazz, funk, reggae and world music. On the Eastern Sierra calendar, it plays concerts and teaches hands-on West African drum and dance workshops open to the public. Shows and workshops take place at Millpond Music Festival, Café Crêpe, Bishop City Hall Auditorium and Outbound Mammoth. The workshops are a good fit for families, curious beginners and anyone who wants to move to the music. The band also performs at festivals and cultural events and can be booked for them.
