A day-use parking lot and trailhead on Rock Creek Road, about 5 miles west of Tom’s Place, in Inyo National Forest. It sits next to the East Fork Campground and picnic area and gives access to hiking, fishing and the Upper Rock Creek Canyon Trail. In winter it is a California State Sno-Park, used for snow play, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. It also serves as a meeting spot for outdoor events, such as a fall colors walk.
