The Black Lake Preserve is a rare desert wetland property in Adobe Valley near Benton, managed by Eastern Sierra Land Trust. The preserve protects important habitat for migratory birds and serves as a stopover site on the Pacific Flyway. ESLT uses the property for conservation fieldwork and occasional educational programming.
