The Owens Valley Station at 3000 E. Line Street in Bishop is part of the UC White Mountain Research Center (WMRC), a University of California research station operated through UCLA’s Institute of the Environment and Sustainability. The station is used for scientific research and hosts the center’s public lecture series and educational programs. It is part of the UC Natural Reserve System.
