A point-to-point route in Inyo County that starts at the Fort Independence Indian Community Reservation in Independence and ends at the Lone Pine Paiute-Shoshone Reservation in Lone Pine. The two reservations are about 17 miles apart on the US-395 corridor in the Owens Valley. The route is used for the Forced March of 1863 Memorial Walk/Run, a community event that connects the two tribal communities.
