The visitor center and chamber office at 120 South Main Street in Lone Pine, in the old Lone Pine Hotel building. Small businesses now fill what used to be hotel rooms. Visitors can stop in to browse racks of information and ask questions about the area, including Mt. Whitney, the Alabama Hills and Death Valley. The chamber also posts local events and runs the Inyo County Amateur Photo Contest, which is open to amateur photographers and is listed here as an arts and culture event. Lone Pine Film Festival, trout derby and marathon events are promoted through its website as well.
