An outdoor amphitheater inside New Shady Rest Campground, 2510 Highway 203 in Mammoth Lakes, in the Inyo National Forest. It is set in a Jeffrey pine forest at about 7,800 feet. The space is used for evening campfire programs on outdoor and nature topics, such as a talk on the secret lives of black bears. Programs are free and family-friendly. They are open to the public, and no campground reservation is needed.
