An Evening with Saturn @ Alabama Hills National Scenic Area

An evening under the stars in the Alabama Hills — spot Saturn up close along with other starry wonders, hear stories about the night sky, and learn how dark skies are protected. Bring a chair, snacks, water and a flashlight (red light preferred), and dress for the weather. If you have a telescope, contact the organisers ahead to arrive early and set up. Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. Cancelled if the weather turns. Hosted by the Alabama Hills Stewardship Group with BLM National Conservation Lands; questions to Nancy Hadlock on (760) 258-6574.
