Deep Thicket Dwellers @ Millpond Music Festival – Main Stage

Deep Thicket Dwellers bring their signature ‘hillbilly jazz’ to the Main Stage at the 34th Annual Millpond Music Festival. This four-piece ensemble — Forrest Allen (fiddle), Tarah Williams (drums), Iggy (guitar), and Scott Brown (upright bass) — weaves bluegrass, old-time, and gypsy jazz with a hint of John Hartford-inspired creativity into dynamic, high-energy performances guaranteed to get feet stomping. The band hails from Virginia and Alaska. Their set is part of the full festival weekend running September 18–20, 2026, presented by the Inyo Council for the Arts at Millpond Recreation Area in Bishop. More information at http://www.inyo.org.
