Horseshoe Lake Nature Walk

Join Sierra Forever education staff for a free, easy guided interpretive hike around Horseshoe Lake to explore the natural history and geology of the Mammoth Lakes area. The route is a 1.75-mile loop suitable for all ages; children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Meet at the Horseshoe Lake trailhead kiosk by the parking lot. Dress in weather-appropriate layers, bring sun protection (hat and sunglasses), comfortable walking or hiking shoes, and water. This is one of several dates in a recurring summer series offered by Sierra Forever.
