Horseshoe Lake Nature Walks @ Horseshoe Lake Trailhead Kiosk

Join Sierra Forever’s education staff for a free guided nature walk around Horseshoe Lake and explore the history, ecology, and geology of the Mammoth Lakes area. The trail is a flat loop about 1.75 miles long through the forest, open to all ages — children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Dress in weather-appropriate layers, bring sun protection (hat and sunglasses), comfortable walking or hiking shoes, and a small pack with water. Meet at the trailhead kiosk at the Horseshoe Lake parking lot. Questions: education@sierraforever.org or 760-920-9224. More info at http://www.sierraforever.org.
