Kids of All Ages Beginner Bird Walk @ Shady Rest Park

The Eastern Sierra Bird Alliance invites birders of all ages and experience levels to a beginner bird walk at Shady Rest Park in Mammoth Lakes. Leaders Maggie and Jan will orient new and young birders, including tips on using binoculars, which are available to borrow along with identification books. The walk will meander for up to two hours, with chances to spot local forest species such as Steller’s Jay, Yellow-rumped Warbler, White-headed Woodpecker, and Williamson’s Sapsucker. RSVP via the ESBA website or simply show up; questions can be directed to fieldtrips@easternsierrabirds.org.
