Manzanar Baseball Project Historical Re-enactment Doubleheader @ Manzanar National Historic Site

The Manzanar Baseball Project honors Japanese Americans who played baseball during their WWII incarceration at Manzanar National Historic Site in the Owens Valley. Baseball was a vital part of Japanese American life before WWII; when Japanese Americans were imprisoned without due process — over 120,000 people across ten camps, with Manzanar alone holding more than 10,000 — they kept the game alive. This event pays tribute to that spirit and history. INYO350 describes the project’s mission as doing ‘something joyful, righteous and healing’ in a place of sadness and injustice. Further event details including exact time, ticketing, and format are not fully confirmed in source — check the Manzanar Baseball Project directly for logistics.
