The tribal court of the Bishop Paiute Tribe, located at 50 Tu Su Lane on the Bishop Paiute Indian Reservation. The court serves all persons who reside on the reservation and all organizations that conduct business within its jurisdiction, handling civil matters including rental housing standards, trespass, tribal guardianship, small claims, and unlawful detainer proceedings. A Court Advisory Committee, appointed by the Tribal Council, meets monthly with court staff in an advisory capacity on court operations. Public court calendar hearings are held at the Bishop Paiute Justice Center and Tribal Council Chambers.
