CA Men’s Rite of Passage @ Inyo Mountains

An eleven-day Vision Fast and rite of passage for men, held in the Inyo Mountains (Payahuunadü), California, September 14–25, 2026. Led by guides Scott Davidson and Nick LaHaise, the program is rooted in the School of Lost Borders’ Vision Fast tradition. It invites men to engage with ceremony and the natural world during a time of rapid cultural change. This multi-day wilderness program is categorized as a Vision Fast by the School. Registration well in advance is strongly recommended — the School suggests six months to a year ahead to allow time to prepare and secure a spot.
